Alister E. McGrath is professor of historical theology atOxford University and director of the Oxford Centre forEvanglism and Apologetics, Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. Thedirector of the John Templeton Oxford Seminars on Scienceand Christianity, he holds doctorates from Oxford inmolecular biophysics and historical and systematictheology.
