About the Author
Alister E. McGrath is professor of historical theology atOxford University and director of the Oxford Centre forEvanglism and Apologetics, Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. Thedirector of the John Templeton Oxford Seminars on Scienceand Christianity, he holds doctorates from Oxford inmolecular biophysics and historical and systematictheology. He is the author of more than forty books, including The Twilight of Atheism: The Rise and Fall ofDisbelief in the Modern World, and In the Beginning: The Story of the King James Bible and How It Changed aNation, a Language, and a Culture."
