Frederick W. Danker is deservedly recognized as one of today's foremost Greek lexicographers. Unique among contemporary biblical scholars, Danker has lived to see the publication of two major Greek dictionaries that he himself edited. While he was part of the editorial team that produced the second edition of A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature, he alone thoroughly revised the entire dictionary to produce the third edition, popularly known as BDAG. About the Author:

Bernard A. Taylor is scholar in residence at University Church, Loma Linda, California.

Lee recently retired from the University of Sydney, Australia, where he taught Classical and Koine Greek for thirty years in the Classics Department. His main publication was A Lexical Study of the Septuagint Version of the Pentateuch (1983), a standard work on the language of the Septuagint. He is now affiliated with Macquarie University, where he continues to work with G. H. R. Horsley on A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament with Documentary Parallels, a book to update and replace Moulton and Milligan's classic Vocabulary of the Greek Testament.

Burton is a fellow of the MacLaurin Institute, Minneapolis, MN. He is also general editor of the Biblical Language Project.
