Synopsis

Hannah was desperate to conceive and cried out to God in her desperation. How desperate are believers, particularly in the Western church, to see God's power poured out in miracles, signs, and wonders? Rachel Hickson calls readers to abandon status quo Christianity, embrace supernatural breakthrough, and become agents for kingdom change. She teaches readers how to alter the spiritual atmosphere of their churches, their cities, and even their nations, offering insights to help readers break past spiritual barrenness and see the life of God pour in. Hickson also includes inspirational case studies that show believers the incredible fruit they can look for when they expect more from their faith.

From the Back Cover

Release your dreams for spiritual fruitfulness

If you feel your dreams are being blocked, you may be standing on the threshold of a startling realization: Spiritual barrenness can actually defeat the joy of intimacy with God. It is time for a change in priorities.

Reflecting on the biblical story of Hannah, author Rachel Hickson explains that a large portion of the Church is not bearing "children." In a book both prophetic and inspirational yet profoundly practical, Hickson guides those whose hearts are willing to cry out for a supernatural outpouring of God's power. There is a cost, but once transformed, you will give birth to God's promise.

"All who read this book will be challenged to press forward with a whole heart. It is a comprehensive life guide for those who hunger and thirst for the reality of the Kingdom of God in their lives."
--Chuck D. Pierce, president, Glory of Zion International; watchman, Global Harvest Ministries

"Rachel's revelatory insight concerning intercession and her depth of experience in the walk of faith give her a unique ability to challenge us to move to the next level of supernatural breakthrough."
--Bishop Joseph Garlington, senior pastor, Covenant Church, Pittsburgh

"Burdened for the spiritual state of our nations, Rachel stirs us in her new book to a fresh hunger for God. Challenging, inspiring and full of practical insights."
--Colin Dye, senior minister, Kensington Temple, London; leader, London City Church Network

Rachel Hickson is an internationally respected prayer leader and Bible teacher with a widely recognized prophetic gift. Formerly in ministry with Reinhard Bonnke in Africa, and co-founder with her husband, Gordon, of Heartcry Ministries, she teaches prayer and prophetic strategies all over the world.
