This movie, set during the holocaust, is about a small boy who can make a difference. Since he was little, P.K.'s life has been filled with loss and pain. He loses the people in his life that he has loved, one by one. When he goes to boarding school at age seven, he is physically abused by an older bully. His life has been a tragedy. As the movie progresses, he witnesses more and more abuse the community of blacks are experiencing every day around him, including his own friends. They are treated like animals, beaten and beaten mercilessly, subject to ruthless violence, receiving no thought or care. He cannot stand to sit back and watch, and he wants to do something. What he ends up doing makes a big difference- one that will affect generation after generation. As he said so himself, "One drop starts a waterfall- and look where it goes."
