Each of the books begins with an explanation of the relevant hardware settings that is detailed in the reference material that follows. The bulk of each book consists of tables, diagrams and functions of the specific pieces of hardware as follows: set-up, specifications of over 4000 drives and drive controller cards; set-up and configuration information for over 500 modems, network cards and other communication devices such as ISDN terminal adaptors; and specifications and settings for over 200 motherboards from Intel and major vendors.
