John Boulmetis is professor of adult education and director of the Center for Human Services, College of Human Sciences and Services, University of Rhode Island.

Phyllis Dutwin is president of Dutwin Associates, a training and development firm, and author of twelve books used in the adult education and training field, including English the Easy Way and Read to Work.
