About the Authors

David Bergren is the author of four highly acclaimed novels. A Year of Lesser was a New York Times Notable Book and winner of the McNally Robinson Book of the Year Award. The Case of Lena S. won the Carol Shields Winnipeg Book Award and was a finalist for the Governor General's Award for Fiction, the McNally Robinson Book of the Year Award, and the Margaret Laurence Award for Fiction. The Time in Between won the Scotiabank Giller Prize. Bergen is also the author of a collection of short fiction, Sitting Opposite My Brother, which was a finalist for the Manitoba Book of the Year Award. He lives in Winnipeg, Canada.

Anna Fields (1965-2006), winner of more than a dozen Earphones Awards and the prestigious Audie Award in 2004, was one of the most respected narrators in the industry. Trained at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, she was also a director, producer, and technician at her own studio, Cedar House Audio.
