I am the author of the Networking Essentials Test Success book. I worked closely with Sybex's Network Press to give you a useful testing guide that will help you pass Microsoft's Networking Essentials test the first time. Unlike other Networking Essentials study guides, which are meant to help you understand networking, this book was prepared with the test in mind. You will find some differences between the Microsoft Press Networking Essentials book and this one, particularly in networking facts, as we have focused on what the test covers. Regarding the inconsistencies between this book and the Microsoft Press study guide that the reader from Cincinnati points out below, the Test Success book is correct on all points except for the typographical error (the acronym given for the Hardware Compatibility List).
