Synopsis

The classic reference for power-system engineers

Power System Stability, Volumes I, II, III is a classic reference for power-system engineers, now reissued together as a set. Volume I, Elements of Stability Calculations, covers the elements of stability, principal affecting factors, and applications on power systems. Volume II, Power Circuit Breakers and Protective Relays features in-depth information on organization, materials, actions, and conditions as they relate to power system stability. Volume III, Synchronous Machines, details the more advanced calculations required in special circumstances that demand a higher level of accuracy than the simplified calculations presented in Volume I can provide.
