Dr. Duhon-Sells is Dean of the College of Education at Southern University at New Orleans; former vice-president of Academic Affairs and core faculty at Union Institute and University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has served at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana in several roles as faculty and administrator. She is also founder and first president of the National Association for Multicultural Education, and past president of the Association of Teacher Educators. Dr. Duhon-Sells is the author/editor of numerous books and articles, and has presented her research worldwide.
