About the Author

Tom Osborne retired in 1997 after 37 years of coaching the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers. Inducted into the National Football Foundation and the College Football Hall of Fame in 1998, he now regularly gives motivational talks to groups in the South, Midwest, and West Coast with an average attendance of over 1,000 people. His autobiography, <b>On Solid Ground</b>, sold more than 70,000 copies. He lives in Lincoln, Nebraska, with his wife.
