Synopsis
Tagore was one of India's most brilliant poets and writer. A Nobel Prize winner. Gandhi called him the great sentinel. Here is the kernel of the wisdom and insight of the great Hindu seer in the form of short extracts. These sayings are largely taken from his other works, and are the essence of his Eastern message to the Western world.
About the Author
Rabindranath Tagore (1861 1941), is to the Indian subcontinent what Shakespeare is to the English-speaking world. A poet, playwright, painter, and educator, Tagore was also a mystic of great complexity and depth. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913.
