Synopsis
Halcyon Blithe is a young man of good breeding and lineage as well as one of great potential. His yeoman voyage now behind him, Blithe is now ready to seek his fortune among those who tend the awesome juggernauts - the dragonships. These great ships harness the bodies and strength of living dragons with seafaring technology. In the latest chapter of the young wizard's nautical education, he accepts the rank of Dragonfrigate Wizard Halcyon Blithe, and finds himself second in command of a captured vessel that must engage in a demonship in battle. When he returns to port, Blithe is assigned to duty on a dwarven dragonship. It is on this very ship that he and his shipmates encounter the deceit of politics before they can regain the security of their Arcanian dragonship and trusted crewmates.
