Synopsis
Fr. Dennis Billy uses Scripture, literature, nature, personal experience, metaphor, and theological reflection to demonstrate some of the ways in which God reveals himself to us today. It is a point of departure for your own thoughts on where and how the Divine has been manifested in your life.
Each of the fifteen short reflections is introduced by a few verses of Scripture or a brief poem, is followed by the author's meditations on God's presence in us, and concludes with a series of questions and concrete suggestions for integrating these insights into our daily experience. From "Morning Prayers" and "Contemplative Reading" to "Humble Asking" and "A Walk at Dusk", Father Billy points us toward a prayerful, contemplative life.

About the Author
Fr. Dennis J. Billy, CSsR, is an American Redemptorist of the Baltimore Province with advanced degrees from Harvard University, The Pontifical University of St. Thomas (Angelicum), and The Graduate Theological Foundation. He taught for more than twenty years at the Alphonsian Academy of Rome's Pontifical Lateran University. He is currently the Karl Rahner Professor of Catholic Theology at the Graduate Theological Foundation. He has authored numerous books and articles on various religious topics.
