Not for beginners.
The cover of the English version indicates that the book is forintermediate to advanced UNIX users, so it should be no surprise that I do not cover UNIX basics in this book. (If the Spanish version does not include this, please let me know, so I can get that corrected.)
If you are looking for a beginners book, I heartily recommend Teach Yourself UNIX in 24 Hours, a book I co-authored with Dave Taylor. Once you've mastered that, you are ready for UNIX Secrets! END
