Synopsis
Visual Basic Applications (VBA) is a widespread development environment used for creating custom business solutions in a variety of programs and platforms. VBA is used across Microsoft products, and this is expected to be expanded to non-Microsoft products inlcuding Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Visio Corp's Visio and Rockwell Software's RS tools. This text teaches readers to implement VBA - no matter what software package they're using. Focusing on developing custom business applications with VBA in a variety of software packages and computing platforms, the book directs programmers from the basics of VBA through to basic programming. Readers will learn how to create their own VBA applications and find out what makes VBA different to Visual Basic. It also covers VBA as an environment for creating and containing ActiveX controls, and as a programming tool in client/server computing systems. The attached CD includes copies of all sample programs used in the book, as well as example ActiveX controls.
