Synopsis

Today, Navajo weaving remains an important domestic craft that is intimately linked with what it means to be a traditional Navajo woman. Marian Rodee was the Curator of Collections at the Maxwell Museum of Anthropology, University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She has worked closely with contemporary weavers.
