The authors have done a very good job giving the reader an introduction to the book, the equipment necessary to complete each card, creative ways to add details to the cards, step by step directions with illustrations, and even a template for creating an envelope for the finished product. The difficulty level of the card varies. Many card making techniques are introduced in this book. There are plenty of colorful preprinted pictures to use to make the cards. The child is encouraged to use their imagination once they make a few cards following the directions."
