About the Author

Elizabeth Hill grew up in Iowa and is currently a student in environmental studies at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. Kate Corcoran is currently the Program Assistant to the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Iowa. She is also a seasoned editor, reporter, and writing consultant who has worked for such publications as The Daily Dispatch and Rendez-Vous and was an Assistant Foreign Editor for CBS, Inc.
