Based on an ongoing art and writing projectof the same name, These Three Things is a journal that guides readers in the practice of capturing thoughts, insights, and lessons learned each day. Alongside selected reflections from the author-ranging from lofty musings on the human condition to delightful, concrete facts- prompts encourage journalers to take a moment of focus each evening to record three things they learned over the course of the day. Throughout, beautiful, full-color photographs of groups of three objects evoke the perspective of a naturalist observing the surrounding world, inspiring readers to view their environment with fresh eyes.
With room to record new insights every day for a year, this airy, modern journal offers opportunities to reflect, gain inspiration, and experience new things. Moving beyond simple lists or gratitude journals, this process of intentional reflection is an accessible, attainable way to stop time, look within, and identify what's truly important. Paired with unique images and thought-provoking insights, the prompts in These Three Things will uplift and focus, guiding readers to feel a sense of purpose at the day's end. In an uncertain world, this meditative practice is an invitation to be curious, to have hope, and to be open to what the day can bring
