Robert Williams immersed himself in the hot rod culture of Southern California: rock 'n' roll, bowling theatre rumbles, dirt tracks, drive-in cinemas, and run ins with the Hell's Angels. Graduating from the Chouinard Art Institute, he joined Ed "Big Daddy" Roth at Roth studios, and established his reputation as the world's foremost Hot Rod illustrator. Illustrated with personal photographs, paintings and sketches, this is larger-than-life story.
