I am pleased to have joined efforts with Michael Lynch and Bill Edgar to present what I believe is the definitive history of American road racing in the 1950's with emphasis on the racing teams of my father, Tony Parravano, Bill Edgar's father, John Edgar, and John Von Neumann. The book is rich in history of events and personalities, anecdotes and incredible photographs. Carroll Shelby aptly sums up the flavor of the book and period in his forward. One doesn't have to be a racing enthusiast to enjoy this book.
