Synopsis

As a Christian, prayer is one of the most powerful tools our Father gives us. We’re able to speak with Him, personally, about anything. Instead of focusing on prayer in ourselves and then pointing back to the Bible, author Andrew R. Jones suggests turning it around. In his latest novel, you’ll start in the Bible to see the treasured lessons Christ and other biblical figures teach us in their prayer. Then, you’ll take those lessons and translate them into your own prayer life to see how prayer forms you to be more like Jesus.

Through ten chapters you’ll learn how Scriptures can shape your understanding of prayer. Each chapter focuses on a specific aspect of prayer as seen in the Bible, from solitude to communion and lament to rejoicing. Once you see the framework for a flourishing prayer life in the Bible, Jones will help you see how to continue it in your everyday prayer routines.
