With beautiful photography throughout, this is the perfect introduction to Portuguese cooking.

Miguel de Castro e Silva was voted Chef of the Year 2000 by the Portuguese Academy of Gastronomy and, in 2005, was selected as the country's top chef. In 2009 he opened two new restaurants in Lisbon, Largo and De Castro Elias, both with his unequalled signature. But it is at his own restaurant and gourmet store De Castro, opened in 2014 at Praca das Flores, where Miguel feels most at home.
