About the Author

Jonathan D. Lindley was born in Manchester, where, as a result of early interests in science and rocketry, he elected to leave school at sixteen to follow a career in practical chemistry. He then pursued his education on a part-time basis, culminating in a PhD at the University of Cambridge and post-doctoral research in the United States at the University of California, Santa Cruz and at Cornell University. Jonathan went on to work in the pharmaceutical industry both in the UK and in Tokyo, Japan.

On his return to the UK, after eleven years overseas, Jonathan has pursued a diversity of scientific and artistic interests. In particular, he has taken the opportunity to indulge in his long-held enthusiasm for writing, poetry and cinematography, fuelled by his extensive experiences and global travel. To date he has completed five novels, two of which have so far been published, and has produced a private collection of poetry.

Synopsis
