Chelsea Is Our Name is a hazy dribble down memory lane for the Stamford Bridge faithful, which also has plenty of appeal for the general football fan.

You don't have to be a die-hard Blues supporter to have empathy with the highs and lows of a star-studded line-up of famous Chelsea-ites, who all share their thoughts and opinions spanning several colourful decades.

Mark Hillsdon manages to provide real top-of-the- table entertainment which at the same time takes the reader back to their first magical steps onto the terraces.

It's 90 minutes of passionate reading that keeps you on your toes and reassures fans everywhere that football is more than just a game to so many people and that results can have such a profound effect on people's lives.

Chelsea FC has undergone something of a revamp during the 90s and it is now a team which is fashionable to support--it is certainly cool to be seen at Stamford Bridge (currently the most expensive ground to visit in the Premier League) these days.

But it wasn't always so chic to follow the Blues.
