This is a definitive text for all students studying electrical and electronics engineering, from technician level to the early years of a degree course. By providing a basic grounding in the subject alongside more advanced topics, Bird has produced a book which should be accessible to all university students, including many whose A Levels have given them little background in this field. It should also be useful to HNC/D students looking for a single, comprehensive textbook. John Bird has followed his usual formula, incorporating many worked examples and problems (answers supplied) into the learning process.
