About the Author

Conor Sexton is author of five Butterworth-Heinemann books, including the recently-published C and C++ Made Simple titles. 'Conor' is a rather common Irish given name, which has no English translation and, in the Gaelic original, is spelt, believe it or not, Conchubhair. Whether or not the renowned Irish literary prowess has rubbed off on Conor's computer books is for you to judge. Conor does not admit his age, except that he spent twelve years with a series of multinationals in technical software roles before going independent in 1990. He and his associates currently run Trigraph Software, operating from Dublin, Ireland. See the Newnes C Pocket Book for explanation of 'Trigraph'. Conor has a string of three offspring (the upper limit of political correctness in 1997 Ireland) which is now null-terminated. Conor Sexton is the Author of the following Made Simple books: C Programming C++ Programming Cobol Programming for the year 2000 He is also the author of: Newnes C Pocket book Newnes C Pocket book (second edition) Newnes C++ Pocket book Newnes C++ Pocket book (second edition) Beyond the Mainframe: A guide to open computer systems (Computer Weekly Professional Series) Y2K a system-wide check list for your business
