From the Author
I have written many books on business skills, careers and more and always aim above all for practicality. With this one (with a co-author well versed in the ways of universities and students) the idea was to focus on the essentials - what a student really must do to maximise the chances of success - and do so in a straightforward way that emphasised what to do and how to go about it. Research showed that many students saw existing guides as verbose (and somewhat theoretical)- this is intended as the antidote to that: it succinctly covers the key issues and provides an invaluable guide for the smart student (someone wanting to do well, while enjoying the whole experience). Initial feedback is, I am pleased to say, excellent.
