Synopsis
This unit 'Java in the small' was named after a term coined by DeRemer and Kron in a paper presented in 1976. This refers to the programming of the internal parts of programs, in particular the contents methods. This unit will show you how to write the internal parts of methods; the different types of data that the language provides and the facilities for altering the flow of program execution. The objective is to create code that will be easy to read as well as easy to maintain.
