Synopsis
This book is designed to develop reading and writing skills, through activities accompanied by grammatical explanations. The Libro 2 contains three units, Tradicion y modernidad, Vida urbana and Suenos y utopias. The book also has a section called Escritorio, which is designed to develop writing skills. Here you will be exposed to different kinds and styles of text, and will analyse their characteristics and then practise writing in those different styles. The section called Sillon de lectura contain a selection of short authentic reading extracts, taken from a wide range of sources and topics and connected to the themes of the unit. These are primarily to develop the pleasure of reading in Spanish.
