"Distance and Proximity" is the tenth volume in the Pocketbook series. It represents a collaboration between two celebrated Scottish artists, Thomas A. Clark and Olwen Shone. The Scottish poet Thomas A. Clark is one of the foremost contemporary exponents of the detached sentence. This collection brings together nine sequences, some of which have been previously published as small press private editions by his Moschatel Press, some appearing in print for the first time. The photographer Olwen Shone who is based in the Hebrides, has created a series of photographs to accompany the nine poems.
