Synopsis
Levon Hawke, paroled from one of Kingston's prisons, has never got over his sister's death in a road accident. Then he meets red-haired Obdulia Limb, her femme-fatale step-mother, her bullying father and her unpredictable cousin, Simon the Baker. The trio try to rope Levon into a comic conspiracy.

About the Author
Kate Sterns was born in Toronto in 1961 and grew up in Kingston, Ontario. Her first novel, Thinking About Magritte, was published to acclaim in 1992. She lives in Montreal.
