Peter Harrison has combined the roles of author and artist producing a guide to seabirds that offers a standard reference. Enhanced by 88 superb colour plates, the book is concise, authoritative, has scientific accuracy and artistic flair. Nearly every major colour phase of the almost three hundred species of seabirds is depicted. This book is the culmination of eleven years of research bu the author. Book in very good condition. Previous owner's name and date to ffep. Dust jacket very good. Unclipped. Small closed tear to upper edge of front (approx 1cm). A little light edge wear, especially to extremities of spine.
