About the Author
Professor Alice Roberts is a qualified medical doctor, clinical anatomist, and physical anthropologist. She is Professor of Public Engagement in Science at the University of Birmingham, UK, and has been teaching anatomy to undergraduates and postgraduates since 1998. She is also a science writer and broadcaster, presenting many BBC television programs, including Don't Die Young, The Incredible Human Journey, and Origins of Us.
