From AudioFile

Ritters fresh story features two teenagers, a talented musician and a softball player, and adds a dose of magical fantasy and a chaste love story. Dan Woren creates distinct voices for Andy, who crafts his own musical styles, and Glory, who strives to be a great pitcher. The supporting characters are well done, as well. The story is set in Ocean Beach, California, an amalgamation of ethnic and cultural types, and each is given appropriate accents. From a mentoring grandfather to a streetwise mystic, Woren delivers believable characters and brings alive this unique story of relationships and music.
