Eleven tunes from the old-time American fiddling tradition are presented first in a simplified, """"basic"""" version of the tune printed with note names in the note heads. Following the Philharmonic format, the tune is then presented in an """"advanced,"""" but still accessible version of the tune. Several options for simple back-ups and very basic improvisation tips are provided for each instrument. About the Author
Bob Phillips is a marriage, family, and child counselor who has written more than seventy books, including "The Delicate Art of Dancing with Porcupines" and "Anger is a Choice". He has presented leadership seminars worldwide in nineteen countries and has appeared on a number of TV and radio programs across the United States. Bob and his wife of thirty-eight years live in south-central California and have two daughters and three grandsons.
