Absolutely no improvisation is necessary for the successful use of this book! Development of some skill with improvisation will be a natural result of its use. The accompanying recording creates a great avenue for beginning improvisation as well as playing some great jazz tunes.

About the Author
Bob Phillips is a marriage, family, and child counselor who has written more than seventy books, including "The Delicate Art of Dancing with Porcupines" and "Anger is a Choice". He has presented leadership seminars worldwide in nineteen countries and has appeared on a number of TV and radio programs across the United States. Bob and his wife of thirty-eight years live in south-central California and have two daughters and three grandsons.
