Diving Science is specifically designed for divers, marine and sports medicine specialists and exercise physiologists. This book blends theoretical and scientific aspects with practical and directly applicable diving physiology and medical information. The text is divided into three clear sections: the underwater environment, physiological responses to the underwater environment and medical problems associated with the sport. Practical illustrations, photos, tables and clear definitions in each chapter will aid the reader's comprehension of the information provided throughout the book.
