These German brothers, Jacob (1785-1864) and Wilhelm (1786-1859), were academics who together collected and published folklore. They are among teh best-known storytellers of fairy tales, including "Cinderella", "Hansel and Gretel" and "The Musicians of Bremen".
Dorothée Duntze was born in 1960 in Reims, France. She studied at the École des Beaux Arts in Reims and at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. In 1982 her work at the Children's Book Fair in Bologna was awarded the »Premio Critici in erba« prize. Dorothée Duntze is internationally known for her expressive fairy-tale illustrations.
