Synopsis
The 1974 second impression of a fine collection of erotic art by the Belgian artist Felicien Rops. This copy is clean, tight and unmarked. It is perilously close to being AS NEW. There is slight discolouration to the lower edges of the pages through shelf dust. Published by Academy Editions with 101 illustrations (four in colour), the book was the result of Victor Arwas organising the first public show of Rops' work in England. There is a great sense of humour in the work, as well as the unashamed eroticism. A powerful and fascinating book, and a fine copy.
