This is a reference work on UNIX curses. It fully documents the curses library and provides UNIX and C programmers with a detailed explanation of UNIX curses. The book aims to enable C programmers to create UNIX curses or terminfo based programs. It is based on UNIX System V.3 but refers to earlier releases where appropriate. Including clear examples on using curses, windows, colour manipulation, using an alternative character set, pads and terminfo it features a full alphabetical reference section documenting curses functions from both past and present versions of the UNIX system. An appendix provides terminfo reference tables for both the terminfo description designer and the C programmer.
