Synopsis
Emma Thompson sends Peter Rabbit to the fair!
A fair has come to the Lake District! And Peter and Benjamin are forbidden to go. Driven by their ever-insatiable curiosity, the rabbits sneak into the fair to have a look-around. Mesmerized by all the activity, the rabbits stand incredibly still, watching. Suddenly, a little girl picks up Peter, declaring him to be her stuffed animal prize! Covered in kisses and stuffed in her bag, Peter Rabbit is taken on his first-ever roller coaster. Benjamin is barely able to rescue Peter, and the two bound home, smelling of the fair.

About the Author
Emma Thompson is an Oscar-winning screenwriter and actress who lives in London and Argyll. Emma's Further Tale of Peter Rabbit was published in 2012 and was featured in the New York Times Bestseller list - twice!
Emma said, "I've always loved Beatrix Potter, as a child and then as a mother and all the years in-between as well. When Mr Rabbit invited me to write a further tale, I was more honoured than I can say. I hope I don't let him or his extraordinary creator down."

Sturdy, illustrated cover boards are flat, the corners are not bumped or creased. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages, the 'This Book Belongs To' field is not filled out. Not a remainder copy, not a library discard. The CD is stored within a sleeve that is attached to the back paste-down page, it is still sealed, so the CD has not been used at all. Here she comes up with another pretty substantial picture book adventure inspired by the Beatrix Potter tales. Nice job from Warne - well printed on cream paper with the color illustrations looking vibrant and fresh.
