Synopsis
Principles and Practice of Sleep Medicine, 3/e has been thoroughly revised with 45 entirely new chapters on the knowledge base of sleep medicine. The first half of the book reviews the basic sciences related to sleep, followed by a thorough review of sleep pathology in adults. This book covers the major topics of sleep apnea: narcolepsy, movement disorders, psychiatric disorders, and the broad field of insomnia. The book also reviews methodology used in the sleep laboratory. New nomenclature has been used throughout.
