Helps the reader master the relationships of anatomy in the transverse, sagittal, and coronal planes. Organized into a textbook called "Concepts" and a workbook called "Applications," it covers body regions in an orderly fashion - head, thorax, abdomen, and pelvis. Particular attention is given to structures that are especially significant in the various imaging modalities. The textbook reviews the gross anatomy of a region, then examines the anatomy of serial sections of that region in each of the planes. The workbook presents line drawings for the reader to label. Each drawing is prepared from slides of the sectioned cadavers. A slide set, Test Base, and Instructor's Manual are also available.
