Synopsis
Changing materials covers Unit 6D of the QCA Scheme of Work for science (the unit is titled 'Reversible and irreversible changes'). The QCA guidelines have proven to be an important influence of primary teaching in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The same topic is also taught in the curriculum in Scotland.
