About the Author

Gary A. Lippincott has been a fantasy painter and professional illustrator for the past 20 years. His work has been featured in graphic novels, young adult fantasy novels, children's picture books, magazines, calendars and even jigsaw puzzles. He has won two prestigious Chesley awards and been nominated for a Hugo award. His artwork has graced the covers written by some of the most respected fantasy authors (Ursula Le Guin, Tanith Lee, J.R.R. Tolkien, Andre Norton, Charles De Lint and more). Gary lives in Massachusetts.
