About the Author

Michael Paterson is a military historian, researcher, writer and illustrator who began his career on the military magazine Battlefield Review. He is the author of Battle for the Skies, Winston Churchill: His Military Life 1895-1945, and was a key researcher on Voices from D-Day. He lives in Walworth, South London.
