Synopsis
Photographs and drawings illustrate each step in the building process of three different authentic dories in this how-to-build model book. Lines have been taken from real boats from the coast of Maine and the models are built in the same way as the full-size boats are built. Every step of the process and the model-making business is simplified. The finished models are a 27 inch long dory, a 19 inch dory and an 18 inch long dory skiff - each one should be as realistic as the actual boat.
